As Vice President of our sister company, The Africa Adventure Company, Alison has used her many years of experience in travel consulting and marketing, along with her knowledge of traveling through New Zealand and Australia, to set up a company offering the same style of independent touring.

Unlike other companies whose brochures might highlight only a few standardized tours, the DownUnder Adventure Company promises to deliver a personalized approach based on first hand knowledge.

Ian Carlo FloresIan Carlo Flores, Director of Tours and Development
Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida Ian joined the Down Under Adventure Company in May 2008.

Ian, a Florida native, joined the Down Under Adventure Company in May 2008.
Ian is the director of operations and sales, and works in conjunction with Alison Nolting on marketing strategy to provide exclusive, wonderful, and accessible journeys.

He brings his passion, expertise and attention to detail to deliver the highest caliber trips to each and every client.

He lived, worked, and studied in Melbourne, Australia for four years prior to moving back to Florida. While in Australia, he traveled extensively around the mainland, as well as in Tasmania and New Zealand. Most weekends were spent visiting the vast national parks system in Victoria and other areas such as the Grampians, Croajingolong, the award-winning wineries in the Yarra Ranges, and along the Great Ocean Road.

Ian also spent a considerable amount of time visiting Sydney and the surrounding Blue Mountains, Byron Bay, Queensland, a diving and snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef.

Other parts of the world Ian has visited include Canada, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, India, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Namibia, New Zealand, Peru, Samoa, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand and many states in the Continental U.S..


Bill RivardBill Rivard - Vice President Operations
Born in Cumberland, RI.
As VP of Operations Bill also oversees our air department. He joined The Africa Adventure Company, our sister company, in November of 1990. Bill has been on several safaris through Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and the Seychelles.

In March of 2009 he traveled through Namibia and March of 2010 returned from Australia and his DownUnder safari!

Other than Africa, Bill has visited Austria, Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, England, France, Grand Cayman, Little Cayman, The Netherlands, Germany, Greece, Hawaii, Slovakia, St. John, St. Thomas, Trinidad & Tobago, Turkey, and Venezuela.


Cinthia Liza - Assistant Travel Consultant
Born in Lima, Peru - Cinthia joined The Africa Adventure Company, our sister company, in June of 2005. She has been with the DownUnder Adventure Company since 2008.

As a member of the DownUnder Adventure team she helps coordinate the logistics of operations to ensure perfect trips for every client that comes to us. She has not visited Australia/New Zealand yet, but would love to visit this part of the world and see what it has to offer. Some parts of the world Cinthia has visited include: Peru and Puerto Rico.
